School for Young Children

School For Young Children's mission is to provide the highest quality educational environment in which every young child grows to his/her fullest potential.

We strive assiduously to nurture the development of each child cognitively, physically, emotionally, and socially.

School for Young Children is a model high quality early childhood environment where research is conducted by early childhood educators, student-teachers, and educators in related fields.

School for Young Children is routinely chosen as an internship and observation site for early childhood and child development student-teachers from Florida State University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and Tallahassee Community College.

SYC thrives to provide a healthful and safe environment for our children. 

SYC is a small program designed to ensure high quality and a home-like familial environment.

School for Young Children serves children ages 12 months – Kindergarten.
