The admission process at School for Young Children abides by the following procedure:
Please call for a tour of the facility. One staff member will provide a guided visit of the facility to family members, explain the philosophy, curriculum, and answer any questions.
During the initial visit, application forms are made available. If interested, visitors should submit the application with a non-refundable $250.00 application fee. For the returning students, a non-refundable annual re-enrollment fee ($350.00) is due on the last day of January of each year. This fee ensures placement for the upcoming academic year. If you have any questions about fees or admission, please call or e-mail the director.
When a child is invited to attend School for Young Children, a parent orientation is scheduled to address SYC policies and procedures. Any questions parents may have will be answered.

Deposit towards last month’s tuition and all required paperwork (detailed information sheets, emergency forms, medical forms, etc.) are due one week after the Parent Orientation meeting.
Every child admitted to School for Young Children should visit SYC a few times before his/her actual first day of attendance. This helps smooth the transition into the school. Times and dates will be arranged with the school administrators.
